Abstract: RadSrcOS – Digital Infrastructure for Radiation Safety Management
In an era of tightening regulatory scrutiny, reliance on manual spreadsheets and fragmented filing systems creates a disjointed and frictionous environment for robust radiation safety. RadSrcOS bridges the gap between administrative necessity and operational reality, providing a single point of truth for managing radioactive source inventories and compliance obligations.
The platform enables organisations to move from reactive monitoring to proactive management. By consolidating the compliance lifecycle of sealed sources, X-ray devices, licences, and statutory appointments, RadSrcOS facilitates seamless data integration, automated health reports, and rigorous audit trails. This ensures that ‘compliance’ remains a live, defensible asset rather than a static list.
RadSrcOS is designed to be “Radiation Safety Officer”-centric by streamlining technical workflows, allowing experts to focus on what needs to be done rather than repetitive data entry. Built to align with the evolving standards of Australian corporate risk management, it provides transparency and certainty to RSOs, PCBUs, and regulators alike.
